Accomplishments

Kern High School District - Food Services Worker Bakersfield, CA

Help in customer service, providing a clean and friendly environment in the

food services department. Duties include working as a cashier, stocking and

maintenance, attending to students, and working as a team along with my

coworkers.

Joanne Martin Realtor Bakersfield, CA 5/08 to 10/08

Checked most of the houses owed by the realtor. Duties include

photographing houses, check parameter of any vandalism, create a report at

the end of each day and inform my superior by email.

Electrical Workers Union Bakersfield, CA

6/07 to 3/08

Worked with various companies assisting in electrical control and

maintenance. Companies and duties include working at E&B Corp. and Berry

Petroleum performing Line work and maintenance for/on oil wells. Worked at

Dreyers installing new panels and running wire throughout their new

production lines. Completed a demolition at a hydro-plant and installed all

new equipment. Worked at Bakersfield Waste Department installing new lines

for new motors to be used. Worked at a new construction site (Day Care

center) in east Bakersfield running conduit and wire for lights and

switches. Also worked at Aera Energy installing lights in all the canopies

in the parking lot and performed maintenance inside the building installing

additional lights.

10/05 to 3/08

Loaded all trucks with office supply deliveries. Delivered to various

companies in Bakersfield including Arvin, Taft, Lamont and Delano. Also

performed maintenance in the warehouse and stocked supplies daily.

Western Building Materials Bakersfield, CA

5/05 to 10/05

Assisted in delivering ceiling tile and wall panels to various construction

sites in Bakersfield including Delano, Arvin, Lamont and cities out of Kern

County such as Redding.

The Home Depot Bakersfield, CA

10/04 to 12/04

Maintained the cleanliness of the store and outside parking lot. Assisted

in customer service and some knowledge of materials and products carried by

The Home Depot.

Education

Delano High School Class of 2004

Obtained a GPA of a 3.0 throughout high school. Also took welding as an

elective and gain a great deal of knowledge in oxygen and acetylene gas

welding. Also took computer courses such as Microsoft Office and language

design with Java and C++.

Bakersfield College 2004 to present

Proposed major in Electrical Engineering. Took related courses in

electrical technology and construction. Also took courses in industrial

design with AutoCAD and plan to further experience with AutoCAD 3d and

Electrical design. In addition, I plan to take courses in programmable

logic control and motor control.
