Worked as Journeyman Fiber Optic Technician performing all aspects of the

outside / inside plant operations of Fiber Optics. Responsibilities

included building new closures, Coyote, RayCam & 3M, reentering existing

closures, adding new cables, performing ring cuts and Buffer Tube splitting

on hot fiber. Testing includes power meter and trace shots with GN Nettest

CMA 4000 OTDR, splicing with 50S Fujikura fusion splices. Experienced in

troubleshooting field conflicts, one-on-on client relations and job site

management.

OTDR's (all aspects); ST, FC & SC Connector Terminations inside hubs and

Telecom rooms; making patch cors and fan outs; troubleshooting, reading

blueprints. Worked with OPGW Cable and steel closures, from sub stations

to high rises, manholes and handholes.
