Business Analyst/Developer Midwest Consulting Group - 2/2010 - 3/2010

Performed the role of business analyst and determined the business and

application requirements for a cost reduction/elimination project. The

project that I worked on was to identify unused resources in the client's

network and identify cost reduction and operational improvement

opportunities. After the requirements were determined I wrote the

application in Java that interfaced with an Oracle database and web based

data sources. The output from this effort was used to determine the focus

for next steps of operational improvements.

user profile service offering as part of a startup venture. My part of the

On behalf of a major US carrier I was engaged to assess the business and

functional considerations for making contactless payments possible on a

mobile handset. This research and recommendations considered the impacts to

the mobile handset for enabling contactless mobile payments using various

external and internal implementation solutions. Another aspect of this

effort was to present the current state of the market with regards to the

device manufactures, components and business partners in this space.

Finally, a set of possible solutions was presented including high-level

requirements, timelines, architecture and implementation guidance.

Performed an assessment and recommendation on possible deployment options

for an online education platform.

New Product Development/Business Analyst Consultant - Cox Wireless

Developed an innovative business model for LBS applications in which

Embarq's potential partners for these applications would buy usage of the

platform directly from Sprint PLS and thus be a cost savings to Embarq.

products and services from concept to implementation. Further refinement of

products were accomplished with the development of use cases and JAD

sessions.

Coordinate with Manufacturing, Operations and Packaging to ensure supply

Developed handset specification for Embarq's EVDO handset which included

the features of the device as well as the software that was loaded on the

device for launch. Subject matter expert on the generic phone initiative

between Sprint's MVNO group and Embarq.
