I managed all aspects of purchasing for assigned products to improve
product costs while maximizing margins and optimizing and maintaining
strong supplier relationships. I've consistently improved product price,
quality and on-time delivery to customers and companies in domestic and
international environments.
I created key supplier performance metrics, oversaw tracking, evaluated
results and consistently worked with suppliers to improve overall delivery
in high-volume situations. In addition, I am fluent in both English and
Spanish, adapting quickly in culturally diverse business environments.
Some highlights include...
o Securing critical purchasing contracts and agreements in domestic and
Latin American countries
o Simplifying order processing, ensuring on-time delivery
o Building strong collaborative relationships with suppliers and
customers
o Streamlining procurement processes to reduce costs and increase
profitability
I am currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management from the
University of Phoenix with an expected graduation date of June 2011.
Additionally, I possess AA degree from Miami-Dade College. My colleagues
have described me as a hands-on leader who thrives in high-pressure
situations.
