? Responsible for creating numerous ad-hoc SQL2000 queries
against SQL databases of Labor Statistics for Office of Workforce
Development. Users needed SQL query results instantly and numerous
times per day to accurately track labor trends..
? Became the resident expert in Webfocus and produced dozens of
Webfocus reporting programs (from former SQL2000 Ad-hoc queries)
complete with launch pages. These Webfocus reports against the Labor
System SQL tables. Due to the results provided with these reports,
the Department of Labor reversed its decision to abandon this software
tool and renewed its large set of licenses and its use.
? Saved employer monies by developing an in house run Webfocus
series of applications that ran against special Bank Data. This also
improved accuracy, timeliness and efficiency for the users.
?Because of my Cobol knowledge, also developed programs to
transfer mainframe datasets to SQL tables and assisted in maintenance
of the old legacy system on the IBM mainframe.
? Prior to leaving in good standing, received a merit increase
also with an excellent performance review from the Project Leader and
Department Assistant Managers who are references listed below.
