Examples of outsourcing engagements worked on include the following:
< Prepared Request for Proposal (RFP) documents for the legal separation of
AMR and SABRE. Created new service levels, change management and
reporting processes.
< Created the first large outsourcing contract in Mexico. Greatly modified
the methodology due to multiple languages being used. Outsourced
functions included applications development and maintenance, computer
operations, telecommunications and a large data center transition.
< Created the outsourcing contract for the second largest telecommunication
company in Australia. Completed the engagement in record time (five
months) and saved the client over 30% in annual IT costs. Outsourced
functions included a large mid-range server operation, help desk, desktop
support, and local area network.
< Created unique outsourcing contracts for three concurrent outsourcing
engagements in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The engagements included: engineering,
local area network and telecommunications functions. The engineering
engagement included global connectivity, application support and very
high service levels. The telecommunications engagement included
replacing an old country wide satellite system with a new land based
system.
< Created a new RFP process for General Motors that reduced the RFP
preparation time by 50%. This process was adopted by GM for their 2006
company outsourcing effort.
< Performed the Deputy Director role for General Motor's (GM) 2006 company
wide outsourcing effort. Responsible for the creation and accuracy for
the RFP's and contracts for five large GM business units. Designed,
implemented and managed a global contract change management process.
Reviewed and updated service level descriptions and oversaw the global
transition plan.
The following is a list of other clients where Project Management functions
were performed: FMC, Philadelphia Electric (PECO), Republic Bank, AT&T, IG
Investors, BNSF, Cable & Wireless (UK and Caribbean), Power Electric, Simon
and Schuster (two engagements), Westchester County, NY.

Multiple Management Positions including Divisional Sales Support; Regional
Manager and Account Management - the following are representative of the
projects that were completed
< Managed the transition for the Bank of California headquarters data
center into the EDS regional data center. Implemented new operations and
application security systems and procedures to ensure proper security.
The transition was completed on schedule and within budget.
< Performed the Account Manager and Transition Manager functions for the
Tower Grove Bankshares account in St Louis, MO. Transitioned the
processing from 65 banks located in Missouri, Kansas and Illinois into a
central data center in six months. (staffing increased from 6 to 65 in
four months)
< Performed as the Central Support Services Operations Manager which
included 10 large offices and a staff of over 6,000 clerical workers.
Selected and implemented a new data capture system that improved
productivity by 20% and reduced input errors by 10%.
< Managed an Industrial Engineering team that provided support for over 50
accounts and saved more than $20 million through run time improvements.
The savings lead to the signing of several long term contracts.
< Performed as the Account and Regional Manager for Vista Chemical account.
Transitioned over 1,000 applications into a regional data center in five
months and saved the client over $2 million per year by eliminating old
applications and equipment. Established a new IT office for the client
in their facility and transitioned the application support function to
that office. Increased the profitability of the account by 15% through
run time improvements and updated programming techniques.
< Performed as the Western Region Sales Support Manager. Responsible for
Project Management for over 100 commercial outsourcing opportunities.
Recognized as top sales support manager in 1988 and 1989. Increased
sales by 25% by designing and implementing a new sales support process
that aligned the sales and sales support personnel.
