Responsible for long term strategic drivetrain concepts across multiple

vehicle platforms, as well as trouble shooting NVH/drivetrain issues on

current and development programs.

Key Accomplishments:

. Developed tuned backlash gears for balance shafts in new 850cc 4

stroke ATV engines that reduced engine noise during idle.

. Oversaw the delivery of a complete prototype concept Ranger Utility

Vehicle with hydraulic drivetrain for platform and company review.

. Design for Manufacture including top down assemblies, forgings,

injection mold, sand cast, machined, powder metal and stampings.

. Design complex parts and assemblies (engines, transmissions and

related mechanical components and assemblies) using PRO-E software

. Developed engine to transmission integration plan on Polaris next

generation big block ATV reducing torque pulse transmission into

drivetrain, reducing overall NVH and increasing life of critical

driveline components.

. Design and troubleshoot gearing NVH on transmission and engine systems

for ATV and Victory Motorcycles

. Generated design proposals for industry leading shift weight designs

on CVT Systems for Polaris machines including Snowmobiles, ATV's and

UV Platforms.

. Performed DOE studies on CVT systems including belt and transmission

testing to identify areas of importance to increase drivetrain

efficiencies.

. Worked closely with vendors for (OTCC) On Time, Correct and Complete

delivery of sensitive company driveline projects.

Responsible for design and implementation of snowmobile drivetrains and

brake systems, as well as trouble shooting NVH/drivetrain issues on current

and future programs.

. Awarded patent for Polaris "Shift" Snowmobile Rear Suspension

. Designed Drivetrain for seven dollars and 3 lbs less per machine for

2006 Fusion/RMK models, total yearly savings of ~ $210,000.00

(lightest in industry)

. Developed a Silent Chain Tensioner that eliminates chain noise during

braking and coast down events for all 2006 snowmobiles

. Designed complex parts and assemblies for drivetrains and brake

systems using PRO-E.

. Designed New Brake System and implemented a fully bled and assembled

brake system that is delivered for 3% less cost than current in house

assembled systems

. Designed new brake system five times more effective at heat

dissipation than competitor leading air-cooled systems.

. Apply APQP processes to designs to ensure upfront quality is built in

to the systems.

August 2002

A $17 billion company that delivered automotive electromechanical products

for HVAC

control in vehicle platforms.

Product Design Engineer - Actuator Division

Responsible for design of actuator components for easy of assembly and

quiet operation.

Key Accomplishments:

. Tasked as the NVH "expert" in the actuator group focusing on the

development of quiet products.

. Championed the acquisition of Bruel and Kjaar Pulse Sound Quality

System equipment and worked closely with technicians to ensure proper

data acquisition for developmental and annual testing of TRW

actuators.

. Designed gears and housings using plastic injection molded parts,

progressive die stampings, and robotic assembly.

. Successfully specified proper material selection of housings, gears

and other materials to produce pleasant sounding actuators within

program budgets.

. Wrote specifications and work orders for testing TRW product and

competitor products for Sound Quality comparisons.

. Worked to establish end of line testing limits for 100% online testing

to ensure shipment of high quality product.

Commission Corps. Engineer, Rhinelander Field Office, March 2010 to

Present

A Federal Government Agency that Provides Design and Project Management of

Sanitation Facilities Construction to Native Peoples of America.

Project Engineer, Officer: LT/O-3,US PHS Uniformed Services

Responsible for the design of community water and sewer systems providing

clean drinking water and safe sewage disposal for Native Peoples of

Wisconsin and Michigan.

Key Accomplishments:

. Managed community sanitation facilities construction projects with

capital costs of over $1 million for the Native American Peoples of

Lac du Flambeau, WI

. Performed engineering cost and timing estimates for funding on

Menomonee Indian Tribes for replacing existing deficient sewer lines.
