My Creative Writing degree has heightened my critical

Filling openings daily, while simultaneously
improving candidate quality. I meet
with executives constantly to help develop specific
recruiting objectives for their organization and also
work on developing and maintaining professional
relationships with institutions of higher education
in both the proprietary and nonproprietary fields in
order to continuously help with their recruiting &
institutional needs. I visit schools to evaluate
their potential and meet one on one when and where
needed & by their preferred communication methods. I
am responsible for developing business proposals and
responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs); in
addition, I am responsible for developing job orders
and reviving relationships with current & former
clients. I source candidates through established
databases and online sites and personally interview
and pre-screen qualified candidates to determine
eligibility for open job orders; those who are
qualified I personally submit with a write up of the
candidate's highlights and salary expectations. I
conduct background checks on request and maintain all
activities and placements, which I present to the
Executive Director weekly. I keep all of my
candidates updated on job opportunities &
periodically check in with placed candidates.
United States Army (Fort Benning, GA) November 2009-
February 2010
Officer Candidate and Sergeant
Ranked as a Sergeant, I was enrolled in the highly
revered Officer Candidate School which creates Second
Lieutenants through a 12 week course. I was the
student Executive Officer and my duties included
actively in-processing new Officer Candidates,
overseeing and being responsible for all
administrative information pertaining to their
paperwork and any of the administrative needs of the
cadre (higher ranking Staff Sergeants, First Sergeant
and Company Commander.) In addition, in this role, I
was the 3rd highest ranked student candidate, and
having leadership responsibilities which vary from
organizing details to any necessary disciplinary
action to giving directions for other Officer
Candidates to follow. I hold an Active Secret
Clearance.
Geico Insurance Co. (San Diego, CA) July 2009-April 2010
Assisting customers with billing questions and needs
was my primary responsibility although I was in
training to complete a host of other responsibilities
and functions. I took leave from Geico to complete my
military obligations.
United States Army (Norfolk/Virginia Beach, VA) August 2009-
November 2009
I entered the Army in August of 2009 at the rank of
Specialist (E4) and completed 13 weeks of Basic
Training at Ft. Jackson, South Carolina with an MOS
of 09S in order to go to Officer Candidate School. I
graduated November 6, 2009 and transferred to Ft.
Benning, GA on November 7, 2009 to start Officer
Candidate School.
Online Resources Corporation (Norfolk, VA) March 2008-
May2009
I helped customers with technical support questions
about their online banking and bill pay service. This
included, but was not limited to, unlocking and
resetting passwords, helping customers add and
delete payees and helping them navigate their system.
