Team: Account Boarding and Coordinator
Maintenance
I was leading "Account boarding and Maintenance" Team, which was taking
care of following functionalities:
1> Account boarding via TSM/Staffware Interface.
2> Account maintenance (Non-Monetary Updates, Account Transfer, Audit
History)).
3> Data warehouse.
4> SMS Alerts.
5> WSS.
I worked on following major projects and Change-Requests, to support above

. VisionPLUS Launch for "Spain, Egypt, Mauritius & Kenya" countries.

business units for HSBC North America Region. As part of One HSBC, these
two businesses were merged to OH CRS (Credit card & retail services).
I was leading "Account Monitoring & Maintenance" team and was working as
developer on following functionalities:
. Account Monitoring: Data extraction for Credit Bueuro Reporting.
. Account Maintenace: Adding new fields in Account, Customer & Embosser
file & corresponding Online and Non-Monetary Changes.
. Primary Control Record extension: Adding new fields and corresponding
online changes for primary control records.
I was also leading the team which was maintaning and reviewing Global code
Standards.

This project was about, transition of support & enhancement tasks of 8 at&t
applications from Fujitsu to Amdocs.
I was working on following two applications:
. CBD: Customer Bill on Disk.
. DT (Data Transition): Converting data received from varios applicatins
in comon standard format, before sending to billing application.

Client: Discover Financial Services Role - Developer
Team: iSYS
In this team I worked on many quaterly/monthly releases and was involved in
Analysis of Business proposed solutions, Designing process flow/DTD,
Coding/Testing, Component promotions, SIT/UAT Support & Implementation.
. Barclay Deconversion: This project was to migrate selected accounts
(Morgan Stanley & Gold Fish) to the Barclaycard Triumph system. This
was achieved by creating 20 files which contained VisionPLUS data in as
per Triumph system's requirement. I worked on "New Account" file which
was used to board accounts & customers on Triumph system.
. Historic Statement Retrieval: This project was to have a Statement
Archival & Retrieval system, which integrates seamlessly with iSYS in-
house statement setup. Provide efficient method of identifying and re-
printing the archived statement(s).
. Reinstate C Block Functionality: This project was to comply with laws
of timely close accounts & reporting of same to Credit Reference
Agencies. For this a month end process was developed to identify
qualifying accounts for Reinstate C Block Functionality & close/report
them.
. Variable Interest Rate on Hardship accounts: All Gold Fish HARDSHIP
(those accounts where the cardholder is unable to pay their contractual
minimum payment) account's PCT ID changed to point for 0% interest
trough the scripts. New different low value interest table & PCTs were
created & assigned to HARDSHIP accounts by CSR, as per negotiations
with cardholder.
. Flexible Grace Days: As per business, Gold Fish accounts paying in full
through direct debit, the due date will be set to 15 days and for
accounts that have not scheduled a full pay direct debit their payment
due date will be 28 days from cycle.
. Quasi cash plan change: Business identified 8 merchant categories, from
where transactions need to be processed as cash in place of retail.
This impacted many components of TRAMS, CMS, TRIAD, FALCON, eOrion &
Mainly FAS.
. 8.23 compliance for FDI fixes This compliance was for more than 30
functional area FDI fixes, which are needed to be taken in iSys
environment. I worked on SIT/UAT testing support for following
functional area: - Payment Hierarchy, Forex Disclosure & Significant
Event processing.
