Started in the janitorial and housekeeping service area of
Riverview Hospital. Later, under the supervision of nursing
or medical staff, provided basic patient care, including
assisting with patient care, planning and assessments
including - recording vital signs, height, weight, input
output, collect and test specimens, report and record
patients condition and patient treatments. Help patient with
nutritional needs - check deliver food trays, assist with
feeding the patient if necessary, and refill water and ice.
Assist patients with their mobility - turn and positioning,
do range of motion exercises, transferring patients to and
from wheelchair, assist with ambulation.

Determine, prepare and set up medical supplies and equipment
for diagnostic, therapeutic and research procedures. Confer
with patients to obtain information for chart and laboratory
records, explain procedures, allay fears and elicit
cooperation; ensure completion of patients' laboratory tests
prior to examination by physician.
Prepare patients for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to
include obtaining specimens, taking vital signs and
measurements, positioning patients and attaching equipment
leads to specific body locations. Assist physicians and
nursing personnel during diagnostic and therapeutic
procedures to include handling instruments, calling out
equipment readings and administering oxygen and opaque dyes;
alert physician to patient discomfort.

2000 - 2001
Primary patient care. Perform a variety of specialized
technical and supportive patient care activities to assist
medical professional personnel in diagnostic, therapeutic and
research procedures. I also worked in a small factory on
lynch road in Detroit it's been over ten years, that place
is closed know but I inspected manifold parts sprayed and
packed them.
