Nancy J. Gonzalez
SUMMARY: Nancy Gonzalez holds a Carnegie Mellon Masters. She is a
consumer-centric Marketing executive with over 20 years of
leadership experience designing and delivering results in
global digital product marketing and finance. Nancy has a
proven track record in the use of integrated digital
marketing programs leading to increased profits and market
share in both established and emerging global markets.
Nancy excels in building common, shared organization and
internal vision for growth, measuring performance and ROI
and inspiring teams to deliver.
Prior to her current assignment leading GM's Global search
and display teams, Nancy led GM's Global B2C website
strategy team. Here is where she changed GM's digital
website world by overhauling the way in which GM designs,
develops and executes websites via the adoption of a common
digital auto shopping "mindset" and a radically different
model for website production and management. This formula
for online marketing success is currently being rolled out
today with a top-notch digital agency who was scoped and
procured under Nancy's leadership. Launch of this web
program began globally in one of the most politically
charged parts of GM's organization and was subsequently
delivered to key emerging markets. Nancy's world-class
communication and relationship building skills were
leveraged to foster this successful strategy and re-create
GM's footprint in the online digital space.
Nancy began her career as a Kettering co-op student with
General Motors Corporation. Upon graduating she spent 7
years with Chevrolet Motor Division, 2 years with GMAC
(finance Division of GM), 3 years with eGM (GM's global
digital start-up Division), 4 years with Global Sales
Service & Marketing (CRM), 3 years in Global Digital CRM,
and 1 year with Buick, Pontiac & GMC.
I am a consumer of new media. I have learned where
consumers spend their time is where marketers must build
their brand. Today's consumer is online. This is where
organizations and traditional marketers must be. There is
a new way of building brands --- it is on the Internet
using new media building consumer consideration and loyalty
"one click at a time".
