Package Handler/Loader Jacksonville, FL
Responsible for loading UPS feeder trucks with various types of packages ranging from 1lb to
125lbs. Scanned packages with a GSS tracking device to enter zip codes for corresponding
destination / locations to track package shipment. Loaded the package in an organized manner
into the feeder at a minimum pace of 300 packages per hour.
Consistently recognized for achieving an average load of 500 to 550 per hour, minimum

Responsible for the training and record keeping of newly hired employees into the UPS
organization. Act as subject matter expert on UPS methods and procedures for loading/unloading
processes. Train newly hired employees on loading and unloading processes, ensure records of
training activities are maintained.

Acted as counselor in school for mentally handicapped children, responsible for administering
and supervising various activities, accompanying staff during outings, cleaning, clothing and
feeding children as required. Accumulated over 94 hours of community service requirement.
Builder’s Care/ JROTC Jacksonville, FL
As a means of participation in a service learning project in JROTC, I volunteered to aid Builder’s
Care in the cleaning and renovation of homes. As a member of JROTC and a ranking officer, was
required to set up and supervise teams in order to accomplish all assigned tasks. I was also
required to give a briefing along with a written report to my Senior Army Instructor, linking the
activity to what we previously learned in the class.
