(Revenue Billing and Member systems) is the system to test the total
billing activities. AOL data center has different servers such as HP-UX,
Solaris, Sybase, and Stratus.
Responsibilities:
. Worked as a QA for their Online Test System applications, installed on
different servers such as Linux, Sybase, and Stratus. The testing has
been accomplished mainly using manual testing.
. My role is to validate whether the data in Stratus (mainframe) files and
corresponding database tables is as per the request on the AOL pricing
website.
. Executed SQL queries to retrieve data & validate price tables & offer

Management Network (TMN) toolkit suites. This toolkit consists of products
like: ASN.1 Compiler, ASN.C/C++ Compiler, and DSG/DSG++ (Distributed System
Generator).
Responsibilities:
. I was responsible for the Porting & System testing of all TMN tools on
all Unix servers.
. Ported toolkit from host platform Red Hat LinuxES3, Intel 686, gcc 3.2.3
to target platform MontaVista Linux, CGE, Pentium3-gcc 3.3.1. These
ASN.C/C++ compilers indirectly use the platform specific C/C++ compilers.
So I had to find the major differences between standard C/C++ compilers
used on both these OS's.
. Created test cases and filed defects and categorized them based on
severity, priority.
