Duties included picking up children from school Monday thru Friday. I was
responsible for feeding them after school, helping with homework, taking
them to activities. One child was diagnosed with autism, which required
special attention such as using the restroom, bathing, and communicating
with mild sign language. I was responsible for giving him medication as
well.
. This experience educated me on autism; which is related to my major.
It taught me to be patient and gave me a rewarding experience to be
able to work with such great children.
. Reason for leaving: conflict with school schedule.
