Fox Digital Network, 1211 Avenue of the Americas, New York, NY 10036
Role: Involved in initiation of a new vision for Fox News to make it more
accessible to the targeted User segment and increasing user base. I worked
as part of the Fox Digital Business Analyst Group to lay out the guidelines
for the site architecture which today serves as a blueprint for all Fox
News sites. Responsible in creating wireframes for Homepage and different
sections within Fox News and Fox Business. Created custom layouts and
module variations in Visio to display different news contents. Analyzed and
created Business Requirement document to communicate the ideas to
Stakeholders, Designers and Developers. Worked in tandem with Designers to
implement the wireframes. Exposure and training in Content Management
System (Vignette 7) helped me to understand the flow and management of
volume of news content from editor's perspective. Worked towards
advancement of interactive feature for both Fox News & Business by
analyzing and researching new technologies and user aspirations.

involved working with instructional designers and flash developers to come
up with a story board for the application and building the concepts in

Role: Paper on "Financial Account management system for Groups of
small/marginal farmers in rural India". Conducted seminars on "Tangible
User Interfaces" and "Enabling user interfaces with animating characters
and conversational agents". Worked on a mechanism to input Indic scripts
which consists of 52 alphabets on Mobile keypad. Data entry methods for
Indian language like Hindi are not keyboard friendly it involves the use of
multiple shift modes. Devised a practical input mechanism, built prototype
and conducted user study and heuristic evaluation.

Role: Worked on the spatial planning & design of Public Utilities and
social parks along a water front area. Created true scaled models for the
project and presented the concept and design to Client.
