work stations throughout the casino.

• Participated in the interviewing and hiring process of new personnel. Was responsible to

administer work performance evaluations to the staff under my supervision.

• Scheduled monthly and weekly cleaning of all back of the house areas which included four

restaurants and all bars. Supervised staff to assure the cleanliness and safety conditions of those

areas.

• Maintained an updated inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment. Worked with casino

management and supply vendors to ensure the best quality and price of supplies and equipments

used in the department.

• Developed and formulated cleaning schedules, proper cleaning procedures, and assignment of

staff to each cleaning location.

• Trained staff on safety procedures, safe handling of chemicals, proper usage of janitorial

equipment, and overall safety work habits. Helped staff create and maintain a safe work area.

• Observed and reported dangerous conditions of work areas and equipment to the appropriate

department for immediate resolution.

• Organized, transported, and set up the necessary equipment in areas of special events such as

“Best of Sacramento”, “Black and White”, among others. Supervised the safe handling and

inventory of all equipment.
