State Street, Boston, USA - APS (Production Support) Jan 2006
- July 2006
Role : Architect
Development of the APS System is a strategic solution to
compliment the offering of enhanced Fund Administration Services
to clients both internally and externally as well as to provide
an application suit that is ready for potential delivery in an
Application Service Provider (ASP) model. APS System, using a
Web base architecture and the Microsoft platform. APS is having
a fund data structure into which various applications can be
plugged. The Total Returns, Yields and Compliance applications
will all provide unique information about a fund and look at a
fund's operations in different ways. But for each of these to
operate effectively, they must have access to basic fund
information. APS retains this base information in a centralized
manner to ensure that information used by multiple applications
is applied consistently throughout the system. Since this
information will be applied across many applications throughout
the system, it will be imperative that it will accurately
reflect the nature and structure of each fund. Inputting and
verifying this information will be the first step to gaining
access to the functionalities of the APS system.

DifServ, Bangalore - March
2001 -Dec 2001
Role :Technical Lead - Wipro Technologies, India
The software is to provide Quality of Service through
differentiated services using Diffserv Implementation. This
differentiated service enhancements to the Internet protocol are
intended to enable scalable service discrimination in the
Internet without the need for per-flow state and signaling at
every hop. The differentiated services approach to providing
quality of service in Networks employs a small, well-defined set
of building blocks from which a variety of aggregate behaviors
may be built. A particular packet, in the IPV4 TOS octet or the
IPV6 Traffic class octet, is used to mark a packet to arrive a
particular forwarding treatment, or per-hop behavior at each
network node. The service may be either end-to-end or intra-
domain
As Technical Lead on Diffserv, I was responsible for the following
activities:
. Perform Technology evaluation based on client's requirements
