economics litigation matters (mostly plaintiff side). Programmed

calculations for cases ranging from price-fixing to class-action labor

discrimination suits. Also served as the highest-ranking member of a

Worked as a research analyst and consultant in the transfer pricing group

of the law firm's tax division. Responsibilities included performing

complex modeling of transaction data and statistical analysis of various

financial data in order improve "arm's length" calculations, in addition to

traditional transfer pricing analysis and regulation compliance report

writing. Worked as a team member on matters involving a variety of

industries, including agriculture, retail electronics, and pharmaceuticals.

Project experience highlights:

. Conducted an extensive statistical and data analysis of agricultural

seed transactions in order to create a novel multivariable regression

model used to estimate an arm's length range of prices for a transfer

pricing report (results were used as part of a presentation at an

international transfer pricing conference).

. Performed a comprehensive data analysis of data relating to the SKU

prices at a major international electronics retailer for an arm's

length analysis, analyzing over 30,000 SKUs and creating a unique set

of benchmarks at the retailer department level (results were used as

part of a presentation at an international transfer pricing

conference).

set creation, journal paper acquisition and summarization, preparation of

. Constructed nested and un-nested replicas of the "PCAIDS" merger

simulation model in SAS, utilizing price elasticities to predict post-

numerous competition models and theories regarding price effects

Worked as a research assistant for former assistant professor Margo

Schlanger (now at the Washington University of St. Louis). Duties included

management, organization, and statistical analysis of two large SPSS data

sets relating to court rulings on prison inmate civil rights litigation.

Results served as preliminary empirical analysis used as the basis for

several academic papers relating to a quantitative analysis of the

determinants of civil rights litigation outcomes in federal and state

courts by inmates pertaining to prison conditions, security, and other

policy matters.

impoverished DC public schools, meeting one-on-one to assist students in
