June 2007 - March 2009
Patuxent River, MD
Duties: Designing, developing, and testing software for the CH-47 Tactical
Flight Proficiency Simulator using object oriented Microsoft Visual C++
6.0. I played an integral role in the development of an ARC231 radio
model. The model used Shared Memory, TCP-IP, 1553, and Serial interfaces
to connect to the overall airframe and other avionics models. I installed
and tested it on the CH-47 Flight Simulator and Instructor Operator
Station. I also designed and implemented a desktop test environment to
interface with the avionics radio model using TCP-IP in place of the actual
1553 and Serial buses. As a team, we used Microsoft Visio for software
modeling, Caliber for requirements management, and StarTeam for software
configuration management.
