. Estimate ratings for buys.

. Evaluate sport packages and special event packages.

. Resolve billing discrepancies.

. Work with stations on resolving errors that may have

occurred, i.e. missing a schedule or running the wrong

traffic.

. Post buys after schedule airs. Secure under delivery weight

for any station that does not deliver TRP's purchased.

. Write explanations as to why a buy over delivered or under

delivered TRP's purchased.

Direct Response Buying Supervisor:

. Managed a team of 12 people, responsible for hiring, firing,

performance evaluations and compensation.

. Led weekly team meetings to discuss, review and inform group about

client and agency news.

. Reported the delivery of media schedules to clients and addressed

client feedback to appropriate parties.

. Reviewed daily delivery of all media schedules with buyers to ensure

the most effective negotiations and buy management.

. Worked with planning to deliver each client's specific communication

goals.

. Worked with traffic to ensure all stations had needed materials.

. Worked with CORE reps to address and resolve IT issues.

. Managed billing to ensure client deadlines were met.

. Arbitrated between Buyers and Reps to find a comparable solution to

issues

. Led communications with the department heads of the Rep community to

communicate the agency's DR goals and needs.

. Identified weak spots in the process and worked with other department

managers to make changes that would strengthen the process.

. Implemented discipline process with low performing employees.

. Traveled to market with buyers to negotiate in person and develop

relationships with station management.

. Identified a need for a new position on the team, created a job

description and after presenting to management the CFO approved the

position.
