Project: XOS (Express OS)
Duration: Feb '08
to Mar'10.
Description:
ExpressOS (XOS) is a system, replacing the existing legacy system
DecisionDesktop (DD). Decision Desktop (DD) exchanges the data with E-LESE
(Electronic Leasing End-to-end System Enabler) by making use of JDBC
connections. Replacing Decision Desktop system with Express OS also
involves consuming and producing web services for data communication.
Service Development Framework (SDF) implemented as part of web services
development in all the interactions. It also involves code enhancements in
the dependent application E-LESE. XOS application will receive the XML
request from E-LESE & sends the response message as XML to E-LESE. Express
OS interacts with ELESE application with SOAP over HTTP interface.
Contribution:
o Developed E-LESE XOS interactions by consuming and producing the
Service Development Framework web services.
o Developed E-LESE Web Services for the interactions with XOS
application.
o Consumed the XOS Web Services, for E-LESE Interactions.

interface to applications internal & external to Cisco by using Cisco
Service Development Framework.
o Implemented SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) and Web services.
o Implemented the marshalling and unmarshalling techniques using JAXB.
o Off-shore coordination and client interactions.
o Developed web service consumer and provider based on SOAP protocol.
o Responsible for development of web services both service publisher and
consumer.

o Extensively used XML and Java Architecture for XML Binding (JAXB), to
map java classes to XML representation.
o Extenvisely used DOM parser for XML parsing.
o Used SOAP and WSDL to provide web services to systems which required
information from both ExpressOS and E-LESE applications.
o Developed Ant scripts for compiling and deploying the application to
Web Logic.

Project: CPS (Capital Pricing Service)
Duration: Sep '07 to Jan
'08.
Description:
Cisco Capital Pricing Service Implement (CPS) serves as a wrapper
application which serves as wrapper on top of the stored procedure based
Quoting engine called CLQT. So that many number of applications will be
able to use this service. The CPS application will translates XML request &
response message into SOAP messages. A translate schema (WSDL) will be
provided for this conversion. Capital Pricing Service contains two Web
Services (WS) applications. The first WS application hosted on CCI would
provide XML over JMS interface to Cisco internal application. The second WS
application hosted on CCX would provide SOAP over HTTP interface to
applications outside & inside of Cisco. In addition to the two WS apps,
there is a need to create a stored procedure which is almost identical to
one that exists in the database.
Contribution:
o Developed the Web Service application which makes use of XML over JMS
interface to Cisco internal application by using Cisco's Service
Development Framework (SDF).
o Responsible for development of web services both service and consumer.
o Developed WS application which makes use of SOAP over HTTP interface
to applications which are internal and external to Cisco by using
Cisco Service Development Framework.
