(polyurethane sheet goods) Alcan closed the TN site in December 2008.
Quality Control and Continuous Improvement Manager
. Led the development of new polyurethane products at the plant level
including all process trials and new product constructions.
. Oversaw all aspects of quality from incoming raw materials to final
product. Resolved all customer complaints. Compiled and reported plant
wide KPI.

(polypropylene fiber) Joined the company as a process engineer and
progressed through levels of responsibility to engineering manager. Plant
closed in 2001.
Engineering Manager
. Direct technical support of polypropylene automotive fiber manufacturing
(Tier 2) including process and product development, process
troubleshooting, and ISO compliance.
. Ensured environmental compliance by collecting environmental sampling
data, completing official reports to various state agencies, and
overseeing the adherence to plant environmental policies in manufacturing
per state regulations.
. Acted as Project Manager for new equipment installation and technology
transfer from R&D to Manufacturing.
ISO 9000 Project Manager
. Successfully led the project to implement ISO 9000 from inception to just
prior to certification, coinciding with the promotion to Engineering
Manager.
. Trained managers and operators in process mapping, document control and
retention, and development of procedures.
. Led QS9000 FMEA (Failure Mode Effect Analysis) process analysis
throughout the plant.
