Job Duties: Office duties which included maintaining a multi-line phone system, filing, assisting

patients with purchases. Handled insurance claims, and prepared paperwork for the medical

billing department using ICD-9 and CPT codes. Prepared orders for patients requiring home

medical equipment. Prepared letters for physicians and insurance companies, and verification of

insurance. I also verified and made sure the patients qualified for equipment being ordered.
