Work directly with single CD mechanism suppliers to develop and validate mechanical, electrical and
software interface with audio head units for automotive OEM.
Operations Analyst-Telematics 7/2000 – 6/2005
Build, test and integrate GPS-based, wireless module and launch ‘first to market’ telematics system for
US-based automotive OEM. Active participant on national consortium for standardizing protocol for
road assistance features and emergency services in vehicle.
Appointed single point of contact for all suppliers involved in the implementation of wireless
technology supporting the telematics effort. Outlined GSM technology roadmap for internal use in
tracking the latest wireless technology developments. Pursued and supported the transition of
tracking mechanism for wireless activity internal to the organization.
Supported Intelligent Transportation Systems by actively campaigning and gained management
consensus to support Visteon's membership on a global standards committee for implementing DSRC
(Dedicated Short Range Communication). Represented Visteon on this committee and played an
