provider for various OEM customers/partners such as; Canon and Xerox with
annual revenues of circa US$500m.
. Managed and led three teams of five to six persons, involving three
product lines out of which one was built from the ground up, providing
technical leadership and mentoring each member, while forming a cohesive

infrastructure services for the networked world with annual revenues of

. Managed the product development effort for the Enterprise Paging, a
mobile messaging platform with annual revenue approximately US$3m growing
at a rate of 30% a year. This involved working closely with the customer
AT&T, managing that relationship, maintaining the product requirements
document (PRD) and serving as bridge with the rest of the engineering
teams, spread across multiple geographies in a highly matrixed
organization. The system is hosted on Linux/Oracle and software is built
using J2SE, JSP and Servlets, scripting in PERL.
. Designed and implemented an innovative disk based queuing mechanism for
use in the high speed mobile messaging (SMS) domain to solve problems
associated with handling peak loads, enhancing the reliability of the
system, while increasing throughput by a factor of ten; enabling the
company to meet all its service level agreements comfortably and maintain
its reputation. All systems are hosted on Linux/Oracle while development
was done in Java, scripting in PERL.
