A publicly traded company (Nasdaq : EFII) and a leading print technology

provider for various OEM customers/partners such as; Canon and Xerox with

annual revenues of circa US$500m.

. Managed and led three teams of five to six persons, involving three

product lines out of which one was built from the ground up, providing

technical leadership and mentoring each member, while forming a cohesive

team environment. Developing software products for

o Core technology development - Driver software and other server

components implemented in C++ on Windows and Mac OS X

o Automated performance benchmarking - Hosted on Linux/MySQL,

implemented with Ruby on Rails.

Verisign Inc. (Nasdaq: VRSN), a trusted provider of internet

infrastructure services for the networked world with annual revenues of

about US$1bn

. Managed the product development effort for the Enterprise Paging, a

mobile messaging platform with annual revenue approximately US$3m growing

at a rate of 30% a year. This involved working closely with the customer

AT&T, managing that relationship, maintaining the product requirements

document (PRD) and serving as bridge with the rest of the engineering

teams, spread across multiple geographies in a highly matrixed

organization. The system is hosted on Linux/Oracle and software is built

using J2SE, JSP and Servlets, scripting in PERL.

. Designed and implemented an innovative disk based queuing mechanism for

use in the high speed mobile messaging (SMS) domain to solve problems

associated with handling peak loads, enhancing the reliability of the

system, while increasing throughput by a factor of ten; enabling the

company to meet all its service level agreements comfortably and maintain

its reputation. All systems are hosted on Linux/Oracle while development

was done in Java, scripting in PERL.

. Architected and implemented SOAP and WCTP (XML over HTTP that conforms to

an industry standard DTD) connectors giving content providers a wide

variety of methods for message submission.

provider for various OEM customers/partners such as; Canon and Xerox with

annual revenues of circa US$500m.

. Managed and led a team of six engineers developing printer drivers for

the Windows and Mac OS X (Carbon) platforms. All development done in C++.

. Delivered product roadmaps and technology demos to senior management on a

semi-annual basis.

issues and to obtain feedback on planned innovations.

. Evaluated products of technology vendors such as Authentica and worked
