Qualifications:
I am a twenty-two year veteran of law enforcement. I am currently a sworn
Police Officer/Field Training Officer and Training Coordinator for the
Florida School for the Deaf and Blind Campus Police. My current duties
include the training of all sworn and civilian members of the Campus Police
Department. I coordinate all law enforcement curriculums for officers as
well as student education. I am also responsible for all firearm training
and maintenance of our handguns and rifles and am certified through the
State of Florida as a Firearms Police Instructor. I am also a twenty year
veteran of the Orlando Police Department. I served in the United Nations
Civilian Police Force representing the United States Department of State in
Kosovo. I am also a former United States Marine and achieved the rank of
Staff Sergeant.

Employment:
January 2009 to Present: Florida School for the Deaf & Blind. I am a
Police Officer, Training Coordinator and Field Training Officer.
July 2008-December 2008: United Nations Civilian Police Force Mission in
Kosovo. Upon completing training in Prishtina I was assigned to Enhancement
Force Metrovica. I was a Deputy Team Leader on Team B. I was responsible
for supervision, training, and support of international police officers.
2005-2008: Associate/Supervisor The Home Depot. I was responsible for
opening and closing the store as well as the day to day supervision of
department employees.
1985-2005: Police Officer/Field Training Officer for the Orlando Police
Department, Orlando, Florida. I am a retired Orlando Police Officer. In my
career I served in many positions which required me to instruct and
supervise fellow police officers. During my tenure, I have served in
Patrol, Motorcycle, Mounted, Marine, and Bicycle Patrol Operations. I was
also assigned to the Orlando International Airport where I was a member of
the Airport Containment Team. My duties included dignitary protection, bomb
search and detection, and critical incident containment.
