. Reduced assembly areas approximately 25% through redesign of client's
Class 8 truck manufacturing facility layout by utilizing ergonomic design
and lean manufacturing concepts.
. Increased production and distribution efficiencies and total output by
approximately 40%, and delayed expenditure for hiring additional
personnel while consolidating specialty fibers manufacturing facility
with distribution center.
. Reduced maintenance interventions and costs by 33% by redesigning
fiberglass scrap handling shaker conveyors to reduce complexity of drive
components, improve reliability, and improve maintenance access.
. Improved the process flow and repaired part quality, while increasing the
production efficiency and output by more than 50% at the Army Depot
Rotary Wing Repair Facility,.
. Reduced potential personnel hazard by eliminating 50+% forklift traffic
within process areas by strategically relocating a semi-automatic drum
filling, palletizing and warehousing process circuit to an unused outside
dock area.
. Developed efficient design for receiving, handling, delivery and AS/RS
ambient storage of raw materials; handling, storage and delivery of semi-
finished goods; and handling, AS/RS cold storage and shipping of finished
goods within a cGMP / pharmaceutical environment.
