T HESIS PROJECT: Solar, Wind regenerated, and Electrical Powered Car with object detection
Anticipated February 2010
• Team Leader, came up with the idea of the project.
• Composed a circuit to regulate the Solar Panel’s output voltage to 5 volts.
• Connected the wind generator and solar panels to the battery bank in parallel connection.
• Construction of object detection using Ping))) sensor and Teensy++ as the microcontroller that
controls the cars movement and are connected to the DC motors.
• Modified the program for the sensor using Arduino Software.
• Etched the circuit in PCB for the RF signals converted into electricity.
