Client Retention and Loyalty function. Instrumental in growing business
and increasing profitability over a 20 year tenure and through 7
different management teams through new sales, improved client services,
process improvements, more profitable contracts, technology and off
shoring initiatives.
Executive Vice President, Client Retention and Loyalty - Fairfield, New
Jersey (2000-2009)
Reported to President. Chosen to develop and implement program to improve
client retention and loyalty. The new corporate function addressed gaps in
client needs and satisfaction, created renewal strategies, developed and
presented complex cross functional proposals leading to higher revenue and
margins, and negotiated final contracts.
. Retention rate improved from 68% in 1999 to over 90% in 2003. From
2001 through 2009, absolute dollar margins improved in all but 1 year
and revenue in all but 2 years. Average contract term improved from
3.3 years to 4.7 years.
. New Client Service processes and engagement model led to significantly
improved satisfaction and loyalty levels as measured by Prevision in
2001 and CMS in 2003 and 2004.
. Awarded the coveted IRI Presidents award in 2006 (the highest award
given to any senior manager globally) for delivering contract renewals
in excess of $1 billion over 3 years with a 96% retention rate
