Tactical Communications Expert/Driver/Machine Gunner for the 1 st Armor
•
Division’s Iron Signal Intelligence Team, located on Forward Operating Base
Hammer, Iraq. The team provided intelligence of battlefield spanning more than
three-hundred kilometers.
• Primary Advisor to the Jester Team (Joint Expeditionary Signal Intelligence
Reconnaissance), based on Command Outpost Cashe South, Iraq. Gave
detailed assessments concerning the communications equipment required for
every specific mission. Was involved in routine night missions and helped
capture dozens of potential war criminals.
• During the months of August – November 2009, saved more than $20,000 by
discovering significant errors in the 502nd MI Company’s property book. Helped
correct the communications hand receipt by spending two days reconfiguring
dozens of vehicular radio sets in order to match the supporting documents. Thus,
preventing the need to order new equipment.
• Was selected by the Senior Drill Sergeant at Ft. Gordon, in order to manage a
platoon consisting of four squad leaders, eight team leaders, and twenty-two
recruits. Inspired the platoon to improve physical fitness test scores from fourth
overall to number one in the 73rd Ordnance Battalion.
• Was in charge of Chemical Defense for B Company 501st Military Intelligence
Battalion. Maintained accountability and oversaw the repair and calibration of
$286,141 worth of chemical defense equipment.
During the months of June 2008 – August 2008, 47 th Service Battalion’s

Electronics Maintenance Shop was short on personnel. Served an
apprenticeship and assisted soldiers in their unit with repairing COMSEC
equipment and filling repair requests. This reduced the overall workload by
nearly 10%.

• Established a secure local area network at Forward Operating Base Falcon, by
rewiring the entire three-story Command Post with new internet and phone
cables. Shortly after, set up company routers and helped assign roles.
