of general office experience.
Skills I bring are creative and problem solving abilities, computer
knowledge (both PC and Mac), various software, fax and copier

CADD Technician/Backup Office Assistant (Full-time 40 hours/week)
I assisted both engineers and administrative staff with tasks such as
creating and updating drawings, answering the phone, creating files
electronic and physical, photocopying, updating computer, filing
alphabetically.

Visual Merchandiser (Part-time 30 hours/week)
Macy's hired me for the summer as a part-time Visual Merchandiser. I
spent the early morning until noon changing signs, tagging
merchandise, and setting the floor according to schematics provided by
the corporate office. Creative license was given when styling a
mannequins or creating sales displays.

Interior Design Intern (Part-time 25 hours/week)
My duties included working collaboratively with project teams of
architects, designers, and engineers on a variety of education and
office projects and participated directly in meetings with clients,
product representative, and contractors. In addition, I assisted with
office moves and expansions by recording furniture and equipment
inventory and laying out new space plans. One memorable project was
designing custom millwork for the alumni center.

Retail Associate (Part-time 25 hours/week)
As a returning student to Columbia, I joined Linens 'N Things staff as
a retail associate and assisted in setting up the store for its Grand
Opening - visual merchandising bathroom, houseware, kitchen, bedroom
products and accessories according to plan-o-grams and corporate
standards. Once store was opened, I restocked merchandise, unloaded
new shipments, and changed floor sets and signage according to weekly
plan-o-grams.

Working in the capacity of an administrative assistant, I provided
telephone support, monitored emails and distributed to appropriate
staff, updated websites, prepared organizational charts, designed in-
house business cards, and provided first-line editing.

Working directly with customers, I assisted in the fitting rooms and
at the cash wrap. Weekly I assisted management with price markdowns,
signage changes, and re-stocking apparel following plan-o-grams.

styling.

In the children's and juniors' departments, I organized and sized
racks according to corporate standards and plan-o-grams, in addition

Visual Merchandiser Freelance Designer (Seasonal)
On the night before Black Friday, I worked as a freelance visual
merchandiser and designed window and floor displays for the Christmas
holiday two years in a row. It was an invaluable experience and
informal education about the difference uses of difference lighting,
display forms, and customer shopping habits.
