ActionWorld provides avenues for cost reduction and risk management by

connected to operations 24/7, offering hands-on, "total transparency"

approach to managing and responding to high risk transactions. The system

brings clients an advanced online delivered capability, management of

Project Description

The project involved the customization of the product NCS(which has its

implementations in one of the biggest banks like FIDELITY, BANK OF NEW

YORK, BNP PARIBAS, FIRST NATIONAL BANK, CITIBANK) with French Market

specific functionality. NCS is a proven global and regional securities

servicing product that supports custody-related business requirements in

scrip-less as well as scrip-based multi-currency environments. BNP Paribas

is one of the biggest banks in the French Custody Market.

Role and Contribution

. Business Systems Analyst for SWIFT (Society for World Wide Inter

Financial Telecommunication) and requirements gathering for its latest

versions.

Network Custody and Clearing System (NCS) for FNB Bank

Location - South Africa

September 2000 - September 2002

Project Description

. The product NCS is meant to support the custody related business

requirements of FNB Bank in both scripless and scrip based

environment. The project had a requirement for interfacing with SWIFT

(MERVA) and HOGAN cash interfaces. The project was centered on

developing a new SWIFT functionality for the Bank to talk to the scrip

less depository STRATE and bond Depository UNEXCOR (with LU6.2

messages over the SNA Link).
