Experience

Cardiac technician. April 2004 – present.

Responsible for scheduling appointments for installing and instructing the use of cardiac monitors in patient’s homes.

Maintaining supply levels, good communications with customers, between field staff and office staff, maintaining monthly

reports and payroll.

Lab technician. December 2002 - March 2004.

Kiel Laboratories. 2225 Centennial Dr, Gainesville GA 30504.

Performed qualitative and quantitative tests on raw materials, used for drug manufacturing, according SOP’s and

various methods, set by the USP, and report the results to the lab manager for evaluation.

There is a gap here between jobs. I got married to my American wife, and when I left the Netherlands, we took some time off, I

worked in a friend’s wood shop for a few months to help him out until I started my job at Kiel Laboratories

Lab technician. June 1999 - April 2002.

Performed tests on raw materials (milk), semi products and finished products, using general laboratory

equipment/procedures like titration, spectrophotometry, HPLC, density, viscosity, refractive index,, moisture

content, fat content, packaging integrity (cans and aseptic cartons). Reported the results for evaluation by the lab

manager. I filled in when needed to investigate customer complaints, write a report for evaluation by the lab

manager.

Production operator. June 1995 - May 1999.

Performed a variety of production steps; mixing, weighing, dissolving, UHT sterilizing, pumping. Communicating

with other departments: filling department, raw material warehouse, technical support.

Supervising a team of 6 lab technicians; performing tests on raw materials (milk), semi-finished products (cream,

chocolate milk, evaporated milk), packaging integrity, often working under pressure. Communicating with the

production department, filling department, planning department, warehouse. Instructing the production

department on corrective actions in the process to maintain quality. Training new employees.
