Package Handler

I am responsible for sorting each package by its zip code. I exceed the requirements for

sorting more than 1200 pieces per hour (PPH). Make sure that the packages make service

by a scheduled time. Unload and scan packages during overtime hours. Help supervisors

perform an early set up before the shift. Train new employees every month. Help operate

the sort aisle twice a month.

Do inspections daily on a sort aisle to make sure every conveyor and conveyor controls

are working properly. Operate the sort aisle daily. Make sure employees place packages

correctly on to each conveyor to avoid damages. Break jams or trips on conveyers to keep

the flow running smoothly. Make sure employees work safe and follow their safety

questions daily. Assigned 3 belts to clear up in order to shut them off for the next shift.

Help other supervisors wrap up during after hours. Manage my employees' hours of work

after the shift.
