Professional Experience
Joseph M. Morris (CPA)
2004
Administrative Assistant
Hired on to perform all Clerical duties required to keep the office in
perfect running condition, daily responsibilities included
appointment scheduling, data entry, keeping track of accounts
receivable and preparing important tax documents to be reviewed and
approved. I was regularly required to place phone calls to the IRS
Practitioner line to obtain information for clients or to check on the
status of a return. Working closely with Mr. Morris I became adept in
preparing and reviewing CPA letters, as well as coming up with simple
solutions for certain tax problems.
First United Bank
2002-2004
Commercial Teller
Daily managed depositor's funds, while submitting any paper work
needed to ensure complete customer service. I maintained all the New
Accounts and Closed Accounts Maintenance, along with compiling data
for the end of month reporting. Keeping records on all the signatures
to be scanned and deleted was my responsibility. Constant interaction
over the phone with the customer service reps made it possible to get
documents or information transferred in a timely matter, such as Wire
Transfers or Account Maintenance forms.
Union Bank & Trust
Teller
2001-2002
As opening Teller I maintained alarm and vault combinations and made
sure the branch was secure for the other staff to arrive. Assigned to
ordering the supplies and preparing the coin and currency shipment I
learned to multitask and meet required deadlines. While cross selling
taught me that selling products to customers does not have to pushy if
you are offering them products which are beneficial to them. Keeping
those principles in mind helped me meet sales goals and become more
efficient.
