Support service center by serving as receptionist, answering phones, giving customers
appointments, confirming appointments. Handle any customer issues quickly. Generate
billing documents to specifications per contract with federal government agencies with
authorization documentation. Compile and process center’s service billing such as
telephone, water, and various services. Assist manager by keeping him abreast of what is
happening at shop due to travel frequency. Made travel arrangements for staff members.
Input orders for office supplies, parts and tools, track orders, update, and retrieve data
from TIGERS System. Pack parts or equipment and ship packages thru assigned portal.

Buyer’s Assistant – Purchasing Department:
Assisted category managers in the purchase of the lines they managed. Wrote and/or
entered orders requiring correct cube or weight on AS400 or K-3 systems and also web
portals such as P&G. Did purchase order maintenance, new item set-ups, changes in
cost, retail, or promotions. Allocated new or ad items to the stores. Resolve receiving
issues on cost or quantity disparities. Forecast sales for back to school and other ads.
Contact vendors in order to obtain new products on the market. Inform new vendors of
forms and procedures for set-up as vendors and their items. Assist in warehouse
inventory.

Administrative Assistant/Services Coordinator – Sales: (Aug. 1998 – Sept. 2006)
Filter prospective customers on telephone or walk-ins. Walk through new customers on
policies and procedures including all services available. Coordinate authorized DSD
vendors for customers to be serviced. Verify store’s applications are completed properly
for in-house purposes and legal documents’ validity. Maintained customer files with
updates on program changes or service issues. Fill in for and assist customer service and
the President’s assistant as needed. Coordinate departmental efforts for new customers or
projects pertaining to a specific customer. Made travel arrangements for salespersons for
domestic jobs and when visiting the islands. Reserved conference room, set-up meetings,
took minutes. I wrote internal memos and other correspondence including notices to all
customers. For the two AG Food Shows a year I coordinated the hotel reservations for
the staff, export and domestic customers, and VIPs as well as the name badges for all the

Advertising Coordinator/Administrative Assistant – Sales: (Aug. 1992 to July 1998)
Coordinate ads between customers, distributor, and advertising department and outside
printers. Organize and lay-out all ads. Prove ads for accuracy of retail, size and slick.
Verify all invoices for expenses incurred by advertising department and in-house print
shop. Bill customers for ads and other services rendered. Assist V.P. of Sales and sales
staff. Assist President’s office with annual Stockholder’s Meeting and company
promotional events.
Buyer’s Assistant – Purchasing Dept.: (April 1991 to July 1992)
Verified stock on committed sale items; organized ad layout for By-Rite/SuperMax Ad
including compilation and verification of codes, size, deals, adjusted retails and
presentation to Committee on weekly basis; coordinated with advertising on coupons,
certificates, entry forms, etc.; responsible for general Buying Dept. functions such as
faxing purchase orders, special orders, customer calls; reviewed all requests for credits
from customers.
Customer Service: (Feb. 1990 – April 1991)
Organized new Customer Service Division; handled customer inquiries, complaints and
problems; responsible for trouble-shooting and follow-up; also, responsible for reporting
to Sales staff and taking of minutes at weekly meetings; itinerary for all sales personnel;
notifications to brokers and suppliers regarding store re-sets; tracked weekly sales of
company owned stores.
