Development of 401k administration Software (20% of USA 401k retirement
plans will be handled through the PASS System.) Pass system is divided
into Underwriting(401k) and Simple(IRA) screen subsystems, the screen
layout changes based on the logic of the field's populated. The validated
data is proceeds through a multitude of business layers, some check for
required fields for approval of mainframe transactions, others assign the
data to appropriate share classes and portfolios, yet others establish
business relationships and so on. The approved data is formatted and ran up
to the mainframe at the end of the day. Mutual Fund information and
reformatting logic read from special Matrix tables which in most cases hold
SQL string's for data.
