Accomplished a Planning and Impact study of a representative electrical
system with look ahead period of 7 years
and exercised N-1 contingency analysis while including the Impact of a new
generator and a new load on the overall system
. Protective Relaying (2008):
The object of the project was to Apply, Set, Coordinate and Verify a
relaying system for a network of two independent systems and provide
Selectivity and Sensitivity for all manner of Faults throughout this
system
. Auxiliary Electric System Design (2009):
Designed an auxiliary electric system for a 500 MW conventional coal
plant to provide electrical energy to the process that is within the
acceptable boundary conditions of the equipment being served, allowing the
process to start, run and shutdown in a safe and reliable manner
. Renewable Energy Generator (2010):
The project is to develop a solar energy generator for parallel
operation with a local electric utility system so as to defray the cost of
electric power
. Microprocessor Based Coal Ash Monitor (2008):
The main aim of coal ash monitor is to calculate the ash content present
in the coal and determine the quality of coal used in power plants.
