> Monitor and maintain data processing for pharmacy transactions while
providing remote system support to our pharmacy payers throughout the
50 United States. Also identifying and documenting system failures
and processing issues according to company protocol. Assist in
performing routine maintenance on computer hardware (i.e. clean tape
drives, change printer ribbons and toner) to maintain operating
efficiency. Perform accurate reboots at scheduled time frames, or

PC Technician
> On this contract I serve as a Field PC Technician for TekSystems for
the Army Core of Engineers. I travel to different Army Core of
Engineers sites and replace Dell Desktop and laptop units for their
employees. I prepare the installation by pre-staging the new
equipment with applications need from the user through the net app
server; I also collect legacy information, and assign new asset tags
to new equipment before connecting different peripherals and migrating
data. The method I use to migrate data is through cross over cable or
either through brick manually. I also communicated and troubleshoot
with the customer to make sure the installation is to their
satisfaction. I make sure printers are mapped, pst files are there,
email is performing correctly (able to send and receive), internet is
functioning, from a net server

Computer Technician
> Responsible for evaluating and performing quality inspections on
software and hardware for different manufactures (IBM and Hewlett
Packard). I performed different test to diagnose problem customer
complained of. After problem was found, I conduct configuration and
troubleshooting functions to decide what hardware component to
replace. I disassembled the laptop with a handheld screwdriver and
other PC tools. Sometimes the repair simply called for updating
software. For example, I would re-image software by deleting old and
replacing with new. One of the most common software's used was
Windows XP.
