Objective
To become part of an organization that encourages a team atmosphere,
promotes learning and career growth, and strives to be its industry's
leader.
Work History
September, 1996 - August, 2010: Pitney Bowes Inc.
I have been employed by Pitney Bowes, "World's leading provider of mail
stream solutions" for the past fourteen years. Originally, I was hired as
a Technician responsible for high production mail inserting equipment in
Pitney Bowes' Document Messaging Technology (DMT) division. I did well in
this position and I found myself servicing "Major Account "sites across
three states. While meeting the requirements of my position, I began
taking on additional responsibilities. These responsibilities included new
projects at work and taking courses toward a Masters degree at night. My
efforts were recognized and I was promoted, from my technical position,
into a Site Supervisor position in January of 2007. This management
position was dedicated to a major account customer who directly affected my
company's revenue by millions of dollars. I remained in this position
until I was repositioned as the Northern California Area Supervisor which
encompasses two government sites totaling twelve onsite Technicians. Both
sites were very successful. Unfortunately, toward the end of 2009, my
organization experienced a "Major Account" customer site closing which
resulted in a downsizing situation across my local territory. I was laid
off. I am currently completing my final course toward my Masters degree
and I now seek new career opportunities.
