• September 2008 – February 2009. Sales and Promotions Coordinator, Cumulus
Radio, Battle Creek. Responsible for data entry of contracts, copywriting, and
working with various station promotions.
• May 2007 – August 2008. Advertising and marketing director, Bermo Enterprises.
Responsible for placing buys for all advertising, including radio, network television,
cable television, print media and billboards. I was also responsible for creating
emails for the whole sale division of Bermo. In addition, I also wrote, produced and
voiced the Max 10 radio and T.V. Commercials, as well as heading the advertising
meetings every two weeks.
• December 2004- May 2007. Account executive, WZUU and WQXC radio.
Responsible for acquiring and maintaining local accounts. Responsibilities include
writing commercials and sample commercials along with developing effective
advertising campaigns for local businesses.
• April 1997 - December 2004. Account executive, Fairfield Broadcasting,
Kalamazoo, Michigan. Responsible for acquiring and maintaining local and agency
advertising accounts. Responsibilities include writing commercials and sample

• June 1995- April 1997. Account executive, WAKV radio, Plainwell, Michigan.
Responsible for 60-70% of monthly station billing. Additional responsibilities
included developing advertising campaigns for area businesses, along with writing
and voicing commercials.
• January 1993-June 1995. Account executive, WKGH radio, Allegan Michigan.
Later promoted to Sales Manager. Responsible for all house and local accounts.
Additional responsibilities included writing, voicing, and producing commercials.
• November 1987-September 1992. On air personality, WMQT Radio, Marquette
Michigan. Responsible for evening and overnight air shifts. Additional
responsibilities included editing, rewriting, and producing commercials.
• June 1987- November 1987. Morning show producer, WVIC Radio, Lansing
Michigan. Responsible for producing and basic writing for one of the top rated
morning shows in the country at that time.
Skills
• Between 1986 and 2009, I have written at least 3,000 radio commercials and
promos. This includes scripts for television commercials.
• During the same time period, I have also produced and voiced approximately
1,300 radio commercials.
