Office Assistant responsibilities incorporate answering phone calls,
directing phone calls to the appropriate employees, e-mail correspondence,
customer interaction, and taking payments. Travel Assistant
responsibilities include providing support to travel agents, providing
research, processing payments, providing information to clients, following-
up with clients, quoting price information, and handling current bookings.
Also provided marketing assistance by attending trade shows, distributing
agency information, and pursuing potential/previous clients.
United Cheerleading, Columbus GA Front Office Assistant and Instructor
2008 - 2010
Front Office Assistant responsibilities included management of all aspects
of front office management and customer service interactions. Answered
phone calls, returned messages, addressed concerns raised, enrolled
students and maintained email communications. Set up class scheduling for
individual tumbling / cheerleading classes, competition teams and All-Star
teams; also organized staffing schedules. Utilized computer system to
process billing, send late notices and post payments. Created student sign-
up sheets and maintained accurate student information.
As Instructor: Assistant Coach for Python All-Star Tiny Mini cheerleading
squad.
Taught tumbling classes and private lessons.

Assistant and Instructor 2002 - 2007
Managed incoming phone lines, answered questions, problem solved and
directed out calls to the appropriate personnel in order to deal with
parent concerns, class placements, financial details, registrations, and
other miscellaneous issues. Also, used computer system to post payments,
update class registrations, process billing and late notices. Assisted with
preparation for All Star teams travel arrangements and plans for out-of-
town competitions. Served as front-office contact person for parents of
existing students as well as for new families interested in placing their
children into a new facility/program.
As Instructor: Assisted with various tumbling and All Star teams.
Choreographed and taught routines, taught camps and served
as a "substitute" for regular classes as needed.
