2010 to July 2010 Ward Trucking Baltimore, MD
Dispatcher
Responsible for the planning & directing of daily pickup & delivery of
freight in accordance to service standards & customer requirement;
coordinate the required manpower to run an efficient P & D operation.
Oversee the completion of the driver delivery manifest, shipper bill of
lading & deliver receipt paperwork on a daily basis. Coordinate &
communicate with drivers about pickup & deliver status of freight, existing
capacity on their trailers, delivery problems/ concerns & customer
requirements. Handle phone calls with customers coordinating pickup &
delivery requirements in conjunction with Customer Service call regarding
scheduling appointment freight, tracing & customer problem resolution
while, supporting the Sales & Operation efforts within the Operation
Center.

driver safety standards training & compliance with federal HAZMAT

Previous Preload Unload Manager II
Responsible productivity of eighteen Package Handlers in the Unload
insuring the Unload was completed in a timely fashion in order to insure a
timely dispatch of ninety six Contractors. I was the manager put in charge
of a successful implementation of vision in the Baltimore Facility.
Previous Preload Belt Manager II
Responsible for the productivity of eight Package Handlers on the van line
containing fourteen vans, two bulk trucks and eight Contractors and there
Second Van Drivers. In charge of insuring Load Quality, Van Scan Accuracy,
Reduction of DNA's and the timely dispatch of the Contractors on a daily
basis.

associates in a Pick & Pack operation with over 22,000 items & averaging
