Dear Sirs,
I have twelve years of dealership service department experience. My main
function was automotive repair however I also filled in for service advisors
and assisted the warranty clerk. Currently, I am studying Business
Administration at Gaston College. More recently I was employed in
manufacturing where I received lean manufacturing training. I participated
in several continuous improvement events and a kaizen event. I was also an
alternate team leader where I managed approximately twenty people.
In addition, I have an Associate’s Degree in Electronics Engineering
Technology and was employed as a lab technician in a high power test facility.
Duties included set up and testing of circuit breakers, motor controllers and
contactors. I also collected data and generated reports using MS Word and
Excel. I recently completed a course to update my MS Office 2007 skills.
Dealership and lab experience show my ability to pay attention to
details and accuracy.
Education and training demonstrate an ability to learn new things
quickly and that I can be easily trained.
My dealership, lab technician, and team leader experience show my
ability to deal with customers and employees.
My service department, lean manufacturing experience, and education could
easily be an asset to your organization. I would like an opportunity to discuss
how my skills and abilities could help your organization. I would like to thank
you for your consideration.
Sincerely,
David Finger
