does renovations of existing homes. Responsible for

meeting with potential customers,

pitching the company, and use a spreadsheet I created, to

deliver estimates to those

customers, while attempting to persuade them to sign a

work order/contract.

Aardvark Construction- Muskegon, MI (2002-

2009)

Residential Builder - Responsible for operation of a small

construction company. Duties

included all sales activities, all advertising, all billing,

all customer service and interaction, worker placement,

scheduling, phone solicitation and customer interaction. I

did all of the estimating of necessary labor and material

costs, supervision of work crews, record keeping, and hands on

work, when needed. I have managed up to 4 work crews of up to

8 people each, at one time, and also directed several work

crews in Louisiana and Mississippi, while

assisting with the Hurricane Katrina rebuilding effort.

US Realty - Muskegon, MI

(1997-2009)

Real Estate Broker - I operated a small residential real

estate company, while managing several other real estate

agents in their sales duties, overseeing and assisting with

problems and assuring that they remained professional and

ethical. I assisted customers with the process of buying or

selling of residential real estate. Customer service, sales

activities, creation of advertisements, phone solicitation,

phone sales, one-on-one customer interaction, paper shuffling,

taxes, scheduling of home viewing appointments, closings,

inspections, and repairs, along with the necessary record

keeping were always done.

National Guard- Grand Haven, MI (1980-

1986)

Section Leader- I acted as the Communications Section

Leader for the last 4 years of 6 year

enlistment. I was responsible for training, supervision,

requisition of supplies, and

maintaining the section. I was also responsible for

battalion and brigade training of other

communications personnel in encryption and hardware usage

and the commanders RTO.
