PROJECTS

. Developed an innovative design for a motorized play vehicle for

visually impaired children that provided a fun and effective way to

teach spatial orientation. My solution utilized two central cylinders

in a system that lifted and rotated the vehicle.

. Collaborated with a team of students that designed and built a "battle

bot" that competed against other teams' entries to collect the most

targets. Our team's entry placed 4th in the competition out of

approximately 40 other Georgia Tech teams.

. Successfully modeled the automotive fuel consumption system utilizing

Matlab.

. Utilized Solid Edge 3D modeling software to layout a cell phone

design. Constructed the back half of the cell phone along with the

battery cavity, and coordinated making all cell phone pieces to

assemble together.

City of Atlanta Watershed Department Atlanta, GA, Summer 2006-Summer 2007

. Compiled engineering portfolios for the asset management project for

the City of Atlanta water department.

. Researched court documentation such as deeds, titles, address tables,

and land plots using computerized and paper records.

. Updated piping and engineering GIS maps to revise locations of Atlanta

sewage pipes.

. Operated solid waste and storm drainage plant equipment including

sluice gate controllers and polymer injection mixers.

. Monitored and operated plant control systems to maintain operations

within proper safety and performance tolerances.

. Performed field sample water collections for laboratory analysis.
