- Product Development Strategy: As the UX strategist on various
accounts, assisted various clients on their product development
strategy. Clients included Vonage and Dunn & Bradstreet. Work included
identifying the target product segmentation and proposing product
enhancement schedules including user engagement strategy within
product, analytics plan for measuring user engagement, social media
integration and product design.
- Social Media Strategy: Assisted the agency client, British Airways,
in the identifying and implementing the social media roadmap for the
Business Connect campaign. Proposed a YouTube contest for business
proposals. Identified projections and benchmarks for various success
metrics and KPI's. Created wireframes for campaign microsite and
YouTube contest pages. Set up engagement metrics for social media on
the BC website.

- Social Media UX Strategy: Assisted in the social media (SM) strategy for
Biogen Idec, for their Multiple Sclerosis drugs. Created a current SM
landscape map, interviewed patients for SM penetration and proposed a
strategy to enhance the patient program into a robust digital asset that
could support patient's social needs and connect them with mentors and
other patients. Provided direction on controlling the SM dialogue and
influence the discussion in a positive way.
- Web Application Design: Designed an administrative portal used by KPMG
auditors to manage client information and data around the world. Created
wireframes, functional specifications and an html prototype for user
testing.

- Web Application Design: Redesigned a CRM application used by top pharma
companies (Forest, Bayer, Merck) to manage their Speaker Bureau programs.

created detailed wireframes and functional specifications.

Lead Experience Architect for pharma accounts including Merck and Bayer.
Assignments included working on various client pitches, and collaborating
with the creative group to deliver designs and concepts for key product
sites. IA deliverables included creating a Content Matrix to outline the
content, Site Map to outline the layout of the site, Experience Maps to
conceptualize the user experience and direct the creative and technology
groups, and finally Wireframes to outline the layout of various pages of
the site. Used Axure RP for wireframing and creating HTML prototypes for
client presentations. Designed various product sites listed below:
- Singulair.com (live in 2010): Medication for allergy and asthma.
- Zetia.com and Vytorin.com: Cholesterol medication with different
approaches to the cure. Site considerations included demographic behavior
and web penetration. Created a highly accessible and user friendly
customer experience.
- Hpv.com: Engaging and interactive information site for younger female
demographic adding social networking elements.
- HYZAAR.com / COZAAR.com / ZOSTAVAX.com : Complete redesign based on the
Patient Ed Brochure approval by FDA.
- Simplewins.com: Worked on the conceptual design for a diabetes management
website for patient and caregivers.

As a Lead IA for the agencies' new office in Philadelphia, supported
current accounts, assisted the Business Development groups with various
client pitches, and collaborated with the Branding and the Creative group
to deliver on strategy commitments. Key projects and
- Unisys.com: Implemented the digital strategy that included a segmented
pathways approach to for information display using UX and RM principles
and employing a dynamic content model. Conducted interviews with SME /
Digital Strategist / Marketing Officers to outline the vision for the
digital strategy. Conducted an international Card Sort exercise with C-
Level executives (decision-makers) and technical managers (influencers)
to identify and substantiate the primary, secondary, and tertiary
navigation elements for the website. Created user personas to identify
the personalized and customized experience of the key user groups.
- Johnson & Johnson: Created a linking strategy for the 400+ sites that
made up the J&J MD&D division. Proposed the strategy for linking the
various corporate sites, consumer sites, health-care professional sites,
and any promotional sites through an intuitive portal.
- EMD Serono: Designed the Healthcare Provider (HCP) portal for EMD
Serono's Saizen product reimbursement tracking system. Assisted the
strategy group on the re-branding / re-design of the Gonal-f site
(www.fertilitylifelines.com)
- Sharp USA: Conducted a Competitive Review of all the competitor websites
for content, branding and heuristics. Proposed a re-branding strategy and
key heuristics for a usable and engaging website. Designed detailed
functional and navigation wireframes for various sections of the site.
- Shire: Designed the various kiosk based interactive applications to
inform doctors of Fosrenol research, facts and dosage information.
Educational Testing Services

- Co-led the design of a web application using AJAX as the development
platform. The test development is a complex task involving designing test
questions, passing them through multiple review process, testing them
with sample groups, analyzing resulting statistics and packaging
questions into tests.
- Collected high-level user requirements and translated these requirements
into wireframes, storyboards and site maps.
- Designed and developed navigation and visual design needed to accommodate
a wide range of content and application areas.
- Collaborated with stakeholders throughout the division to ensure
acceptance of design and functionality.

Federal Aviation Administration

Supported the FAA for over 5 years, as a Senior Human Factors Engineer,
conducting research on Air Traffic Control systems. Led the research
efforts on various projects that included advanced concepts for future
deployment. Employed the range of UCD methodology from Contextual
Inquiries, Evaluations, Task Analysis, Cognitive Walkthroughs, and high
fidelity human-in-the-loop (Usability) testing. Key projects and outcomes
are noted below:
- Design of a web-interface for biometric identification access and
tracking system for airports.
- Co-researcher on the Future En Route Workstation (FEWS) project, which is
an attempt to design the ATC workstation for the future needs of the
controllers based on extreme traffic load. Co-researcher on the UI
evaluation of the EnRoute Descent Advisor (EDA) conflict detection and
resolution tool designed by NASA. Co-authored a study on Human Error for
the Distributed Air Ground Traffic Management (DAG-TM) paradigm, being
proposed by the FAA as the future of Air Traffic Control.
- Introduced Data Mining techniques for behavioral data analysis in
aviation research. Proposed using classification and pattern evaluation
DM algorithms for knowledge discovery from testing data that included
controller's interaction with the system, controller eye-movements, and
system status changes.
- Co-researcher on the project involving testing the effect of collocation
of three Air Traffic Management (ATM) tools on controller performance.
- Co-authored a Field Survey Study focusing on the complexity factors and
decision strategies specific to the Air Traffic Control Tower (ATCT)
environment.
- Conducted a Field Survey Study to assess the efficacy of the auditory
alarms and alerts at facilities and formulated standards for future
auditory alarms and alerts at AF's.
