As Operations Manager for the US-VISIT program responsibilities include:
managing the recruiting and on-boarding process for all new staff; manage
all program sub-contract agreements; act as corporate liaison for all
program internal processes.
. Reduced the amount of time it took to process new staff members
through the security process by 10%, reducing lost revenue.
. Compiled important data into two reports to track status of all open
positions. This included tracking candidates for on average of 80
opened positions by where they were in the process: being interviewed,
submitted for consideration, offer extended, offer accepted, and
finally the security process. This information was not only reported
to all hiring managers but was used to identify trends and areas
requiring process improvement.
. Successfully prepared for an ISO 9000 Audit by gathering all the
requirements, updating (and in some cases creating) project plans so
that we were compliant in all areas. The program passed with a
compliancy rating score of 99%.
. Successfully built working relationships with multiple corporate
entities to ensure program operations ran smoothly and efficiently.
. Coordinated the roll-on process for over 20 new employees in a period
of 6 months, which expanded growth and revenue by 30%.
Deputy Project Manager (2003 to 2005)

gain access to FEMA team staff, existing materials and tools in order to
analyze, research, interview and develop documentation to define, record,

response team members. By having a solid working relationship, there was
less reliance on a single point of contact to garner the information
needed to produce solid and accurate documents, thus meeting delivery
dates on time.

Operating Procedures, and Job Aids for 5 FEMA Emergency Response Teams.
