BIOGRAPHY
Master Sergeant David C. Litz is the Phoenix Raven Program Manager currently assigned to the 60 thSecurity Squadron, Travis
Air Force Base, CA. He manages team logistics to include scheduling required intelligence briefings, researching mission locations, and
handling SOFA and LOAC issues. In 2005 Sergeant Litz volunteered to serve a 180 day deployment as a Compound Shift Supervisor at
Camp Bucca Interment Facility in Iraq. MSgt Litz and his team were embedded with the Army at Camp Bucca, located in the heart of
the Basra Province. He diligently trained, mentored, and advised his Iraqi and Army counterparts in the execution of their mission.
MSgt Litz was awarded the Army Accommodation Medal for his hard work, dedication to the mission, and leadership. MSgt Litz
entered the Air Force in 1987. His career in Security Forces has included duties as Missile Field Flight Security Controller, Missile Field
Quality Control Evaluator, Security Forces Flight Chief, and Non Commissioned Officer in charge (NCOIC) of Mobility and Readiness.
He has been deployed in support of Operations ENDURING /IRAQI FREEDOM, NOBLE EAGLE, OPERATION PROVIDE
COMFORT and JOINT ENDEAVOR.
