Qualifications
17 yrs Experience as a Chemical Operator/Technician. Knowledge of batch process operations
involving monitoring of an automated system, field applications(charging chemicals, switching
process lines for product changes and cleanouts, manual filter press operation, sample testing
using titration and gas chromatograph equipment, troubleshooting(adjusting manual valves,
unplugging clogged lines, adjusting the seal pressure on transfer pumps), and minor maintenance
of equipment. Also experienced in blending and packaging of finished products to be shipped to
customers, as well as operating labeling and shrinkwrap devices to get products ready for
shipment. Experienced using a forklift to move loaded pallets, metal and plastic containers, and
other materials from trailers to warehouse locations. Also experienced with shipping and
receiving duties including verifying inventory by computer. Member of the company Emergency
Response Team with extensive training that includes 40 hr. Hazmat, DOT Packaging and
Labeling for Hazardous Materials, Fork Truck certification, Confined Space Rescue, and Fire
Brigade Training.
